How you didn’t let anyone give you eye drops except me

When you got so nervous after we went to visit Greg in Phoenix for the second time on our road trip and after that you were just completely over the car.

The quiet moments I would look at you sleeping on my bed and think how grateful I am and how amazing it is that I got to give such a special soul like you a beautiful life where you never had to worry about getting hurt and to me, you were a princess.

When you’d fart and either sniff it or get scared.

Your two different EARS!!! The best!!

The paw game

Your nose whistling and squeaking

Pushed over Pooch

Kissing you on the forehead or on the cheek

Your lip smacking in the middle of the night

Puppy snot

The way you’d vibrate while waiting for daddy to come get you on your morning walk

The look you gave me right before you left, when you got the floppy medicine and you didn’t like it, and you were worried so you looked at me while you were feeling sleepy and I told you “it’s ok my good girl I’m here” and you just relaxed right away because of how much you trusted me

When you’d stand at the door of a room I was in, looking inside at me, and you’d twist into a little half donut shape

When you would wait for daddy after work with Sonny and I would tell him every day who was there first and who should get said hi to first.

Big turns in the car! You were so good at them!

When we were in Texas on our roadtrip and Finn, the wolfhound in San Antonio, used to come by in the morning to get you to play all day. And what an awesome outdoor pooch you were!

Deer fox worm eagle!

How you’d fly from couch to bed in NYC

How excited you’d be on walks, like ON TO THE NEXT

When we first moved to Florida and I was swimming laps in the pool at Allendale and I didn’t realize you were gonna get so freaked out because you thought something was wrong and you jumped to save me because that’s who you were. ❤️

Coffee and candles with Sonny staring in Texas and continuing to both houses in Orlando.

How you used to BIG FLOP into your big puppy bed.

How annoyed you’d get whenever I needed to strip the bed and clean the sheets because you didn’t like your routine being interrupted lol

Circles on your paw putting you straight to sleep!!

Daal chawal, vegetable soup, and other non-puppy food you loved!

When you were sick in the hospital that first day after your procedures when they really didn’t want to let me see you, but I was crying and so upset so they let me see you and you were in that little box and you were asleep and I looked down at you and I was crying and one single tear fell on your nose and you open your eyes and looked at me and I felt such a connection When I asked you to stay, like you didn’t really want to stay, but you were going to stay for me. And then we got nine long beautiful years together after that.

How you were so nervous when I first adopted you in New York, and you thought you couldn’t move from the spot you were sitting in and then little by little you came to trust me and became the bright energetic hilarious personality filled puppy you were.

How you hated someone putting a hand on you, if they weren’t rubbing. And you would give three warnings before you would get completely enraged and huff away.
